PRODUCTION PROFILE
The 6th Regional Congress of the Bandung Institute of Technology Alumni Association (IA ITB) East Java was held under the theme “Optimizing the Added Value of Extractive Resource-Based Industries in Energy, Oil and Gas, and Coal Minerals as the Locomotive of the Nation’s Economy Toward Golden Indonesia 2045.” This event served not only as a consolidation forum for alumni but also as a platform for national dialogue that brought together ideas across generations and professions.
The congress was attended by a total of 200 participants, with 100 joining the event in person and another 100 participating online via Zoom. The discussion featured two keynote speakers who explored opportunities and challenges in managing extractive natural resources, as well as three panelists representing the campaign teams of the three presidential and vice-presidential candidates for the 2024–2029 period. Their presence provided diverse perspectives on the nation’s development direction, particularly in the energy, oil and gas, and coal mineral sectors.
Through this event, IA ITB East Java seeks to strengthen relations between corporations and communities while also helping society enhance its knowledge in national issues. The dialogue further emphasized the importance of synergy between industry, academia, government, and society in optimizing natural resources as a pillar of the economy in achieving Golden Indonesia 2045.
