PRODUCTION PROFILE
Efforts to expand green spaces and preserve the environment were once again realized through the tree seedling procurement and distribution program in Bojonegoro. This initiative was a collaboration between PT ADDS and environmental organizations, aiming to create a healthier environment while supporting ecological balance amidst the challenges of climate change.
As part of the program, a total of 4,600 tree seedlings were successfully distributed to representatives of educational institutions and five village representatives in the Banyu Urip area, Bojonegoro. The seedlings included a variety of species such as avocado, matoa, trembesi, guava, longan, ketapang kencana, banyan, mango, and teak. This diversity of trees is expected to bring both ecological and economic benefits for the community in the future.
This initiative not only represents a concrete step in creating green spaces that improve the surrounding environment, but also plays an important role in enhancing air quality and reducing carbon emissions. In the long run, the trees will act as significant absorbers of carbon dioxide, thus supporting sustainable climate change mitigation efforts.
Beyond environmental benefits, the program also carries educational value by raising community awareness of the importance of protecting nature. Through direct community involvement, the message of sustainability can be conveyed more effectively, ensuring that the culture of planting and nurturing trees is preserved across generations.
