In order to support community economic empowerment and reduce dependence on loan sharks, Petrogas Micro Finance, an initiative by PT Petrogas Jatim Utama Cendana, has launched an economic empowerment program for ultra-micro businesses by providing interest-free loans in collaboration with BankZiska. This program aims to assist ultra-micro business owners who have been burdened by high interest rates and harmful lending practices. The total CSR funding disbursed by PT Petrogas Jatim Utama Cendana to BankZiska for this program is IDR 35,000,000, with the funds being provided as qordhul hasan (benevolent loans).

Through this program, ultra-micro business owners in the Ponorogo, Magetan, and Pacitan regions will have access to financing that is easier and more affordable, without the worry of burdensome interest. The interest-free loans are expected to provide opportunities for small businesses to grow, increase production capacity, and create new jobs in the community.

This program is expected to have a positive impact on the local economy by increasing the competitiveness of ultra-micro businesses and promoting inclusive economic growth. With the help of these interest-free loans, it is hoped that ultra-micro business owners can improve the quality of their products, expand their marketing networks, and innovate in the development of their businesses.
