As part of its efforts to support the use of renewable energy and improve the infrastructure of pesantren-based education, PT Petrogas Jatim Utama Cendana has continued its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by installing a solar power plant (PLTS) at Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikam. The second phase of the PLTS installation aims to ensure a sustainable, efficient, and environmentally friendly energy supply for the daily activities at the pesantren.

In this second phase, the installation of 20 solar panels with a total capacity of 10,900 watts has been carried out to increase the capacity of the existing power generation system. With this addition, it is hoped that Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikam can maximize solar energy to meet the electricity needs for teaching activities, community service, and other activities that support religious education.

The installation of the PLTS is part of the company's commitment to support pesantren in adopting environmentally friendly technology, which aligns with the principles of sustainability and climate change mitigation. With the addition of this solar power plant, it is expected that Pondok Pesantren Al-Hikam will continue to grow and provide a better environment for the students.
